Sunny bounced into action today in the Senior section of the Montreal Panamerican Open.
Defeating one of the bronze medalists from the junior event, Sunny was then defeated by the American Karlee Carrouth in the quarter final, putting her into the repecharge to fight for š„
Avenging the defeat to Margot Chevalier from the junior competition, Sunny then faced Canadian Miguela Ngombi for the bronze medal, scoring wazari early on to take the spoils šŖš»š“ó §ó ¢ó ³ó £ó “ó æš„
This is Sunnyās first Senior & International medal since moving categories to u63kg.
